INTERNATIONAL PROTOCOL OF NEW RECORDS

In a joint meeting of Chief Editors of Records Book, of Member Nations, held on 8th September 2017 on Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, IPNR ‘, International Protocol for New Records (IPNR)’, was formed. It is a strict list of record policies; that needs to be adhered to for all record-breaking / making achievements.to be adhered to for all record-breaking/making achievements.

The following protocols are accepted; to declare a particular feat a record.

The record applicant should be a citizen of the country, and the record should be attempted in the same country

The new Record attempted should in all parameters exceed the existing record; to be considered as Record-Breaking

All guidelines should be strictly followed, as per the protocol

In case of a new record application, to be called or judged as a record, the record book must consult at least two Member Nations, Chief Editors

The data of approved Record(s); should be made available to the Member Nations of Record Books on request

Once in a year, Chief Editors’ Meet, to be held; wherein the participation of all the Member Nations is mandatory to review the record guideline
